Boland Woodworking is a small furniture and custom casework company that focuses on building long lasting relationships with local designers, architects and builders.
Brian Boland apprenticed for 4 years in a small wood shop that concentrated on reproduction work through the National Park Service, Winterthur, and Williamsburg. After completion, along with classwork at PCA and Drexel, he opened up shop with an emphasis on 18th and 19th century furniture restoration.
Boland Woodworking has evolved into a custom casework and furniture building company. We still hold a dedication to old world construction and finishing techniques that are on the verge of becoming a lost art.
Over the years, we have built an organization comprised of talented artisans and craftsmen that have committed their entire professional lives to the craft of woodworking.
Whether it is on Rittenhouse Square, a Delancey Street Furness home, in a Gladwyne Revival house, a farmette in Maryland or an apartment on Locust Walk... our passion is to make sure that our work fits seamlessly in its environment. Located in historic Germantown, we are Germantown Made.
